  1. Author Guidelines

    General Requirements

    Tashfiyatuna: Jurnal Pendidikan Keislaman accepts original research articles, review articles, and other scholarly manuscripts relevant to the journal's Focus and Scope.

    Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian, English, or Arabic. Submitted manuscripts must be original, have not been previously published, and must not be under consideration by another journal.

    Authors must ensure that manuscripts comply with publication ethics, academic integrity standards, and the journal's plagiarism policy.


    Article Types

    The journal accepts:

    1. Original Research Articles;
    2. Review Articles;
    3. Scholarly articles relevant to Islamic education studies.

    Manuscript Preparation

    Authors should prepare manuscripts according to the official Tashfiyatuna template available on the journal website.

    The manuscript should contain:

    1. Title
    2. Author names and affiliations
    3. Abstract and keywords
    4. Introduction
    5. Research Methodology
    6. Results and Discussion
    7. Conclusion
    8. References

    Title and Author Information

    The title should contain approximately 4–12 words, be informative, concise, and represent the content of the manuscript.

    Author names should be written without academic titles and should include institutional affiliation, institutional address, and email address. The corresponding author should be clearly identified.


    Abstract and Keywords

    Manuscripts must include abstracts in Indonesian and English.

    Each abstract should contain approximately 150–200 words and include:

    • research background;
    • research objectives;
    • methodology;
    • main findings;
    • novelty and implications.

    Each manuscript should include 3–5 keywords.


    Manuscript Length and Format

    The manuscript should contain approximately 5,000–7,000 words excluding references.

    The manuscript should follow the formatting requirements provided in the official journal template.


    Citation and References

    Tashfiyatuna uses the Chicago Manual of Style 17th Edition (Full Note) citation style.

    Authors are encouraged to use reference management applications such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

    References should prioritize relevant and credible scholarly sources, especially recent peer-reviewed publications.


    Peer Review Process

    All submitted manuscripts undergo editorial screening and peer review.

    Publication decisions are based on manuscript quality, relevance to the journal scope, originality, and recommendations from reviewers.


    Plagiarism Policy

    Authors must ensure that manuscripts are free from plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabrication, falsification, and other forms of academic misconduct.


    Author Responsibility

    Authors are responsible for:

    • ensuring originality of manuscripts;
    • obtaining necessary permissions for copyrighted materials;
    • declaring conflicts of interest;
    • ensuring accuracy of data and references;
    • approving the final version of the manuscript.

    Submission Process

    Authors must submit manuscripts through the journal's online submission system.

    Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal requirements may be returned for revision before entering the review process.
